Is This Art? Mobile App

 

The Is This Art? iPhone application and website is a collaborative project between Static Made, the Mattress Factory museum, tech innovators Deeplocal and art blogger C-Monster. Using their iPhone’s camera, users take a photo of their surroundings. The application then makes a determination of the photo’s artistic merit. Images can be uploaded to a dedicated website and shared on Facebook and Twitter, where a dialog about art and its importance in society takes place around the submitted photos.
